Fantasy Voodoo Priestess Concepts

Fantasy Voodoo Priestess Concepts

(AntarDragon)
Here be concepts and drawings of my Fantasy Voodoo Priestess. Once I have finished the final character sheet for the Fantasy Voodoo Priestess (now refered to as FVP for ease of typing), FVP will be a part of my art portfolio.

Raven is the result of a study of what I can do with two colors. Prismacolor comes out with a new color ever so often and the one in particular begged for a solo (with a little help from one other color). I loved the color so much, when I bought my car, I picked the one with this particular color. Black Cherry. Raven has become my logo and will soon grace the back of my 2008 Scion xB. To me Raven signifies strength, beauty, and mystery.

Acme Labs

Acme Labs

(Douphous)
Established to supplement natural weirdness with research and development of new and unusual creatures. This worked well until bureaucratic foolishness removed the incentive to produce high quality experimental prototypes. Now, anything is possible.

Evolution of a drawing

Evolution of a drawing

(Heather)
No longer a Work in progress. here is the evolution of my art. I start with a pencil drawing then proceed to color. I tell my 7 year old, you can do something with all that coloring you do in school. Now I make the drawings to color. This particular piece has taken longer than expected. The dragon wings alone have 4 layers of colored pencil on them, and up to7 on the ground. That's why I use bristol board vellum. It can really take the pressure and rubbing.

Old Meets New: Tribal Style Art in a Digital Age

(JolieBonnette)
These designs are often said to look tribal or Celtic. In reality they aren't either of those. This style was something developed while doodling in my class notes when I was bored out of my mind all through public schooling.
