I've been creating textures and opacity map items for a great free 3d instant messenger chat program called IMVU for several months now.
I typically use photoshop and open canvas to create custom textures to pre-created objects such as skins for avatars or in this case a 3d object that allows you to manipulate it's colors to create a unique product.
I'm quite happy with how these items came out and I hope to start producing my own 3d products soon.
