The Chinese goddess Mazu has many names and titles
Known in different regions as Matsu, Ma-Tsu, A-ma, Tianhou, and other names, with numerous titles that include "Motherly Matriarch", "Kuan Yin of the Southern Sea" "Daughter of the Dragon", and "Empress of Heaven"
Although some experts feel she may be a version of the older goddess Kuan Yin (who is better known in most western countries), Mazu is deeply rooted in the hearts of her people, especially coastal areas in the East, and is best known as the "Goddess of the Sea"
In folk tradition it is believed that, when you are facing great difficulty, you can call her by the name "Mazu" and she will immediately come to your rescue If, however, you address her as the "Empress of Heaven", she will have to take time to put on her fine clothing and will be delayed in coming to your aid!
The Chinese Goddess Mazu originated with the deification of a young woman named Lin Mo Niang who had performed numerous miracles during her short life
A kind-hearted girl with a vast knowledge of Chinese medicine, she was known as a healer, curing the sick while teaching people how to prevent illness and injury Many of the miracles she performed involved quelling storms at sea, so it is hardly surprising that she is known as the protector of all seafaring people

Where did the simple days go?
when I was tied by bonds
supposedly unbreakable,
to servitude of honor.
Battle then was nothing other
than competitive leisure.
Then came the horrors.
Disaster arriving unlooked for
as we were plunged into long war.
Ever the brave soldier,
I stood tall in the service
of my revered and gallant Master.
Skilled in arms I was,
often I was at the forefront
of ever increasing violent battles,
snatching victory perilously
from the indignity of defeat,
thus I won renown.
More than renown was needed,
alas, to save us,
for the enemy was relentless.
At each narrow victory,
we soon crashed to defeat,
followed again by further loss.
Then came the fateful day.
In one mass, crushing swoop,
the enemy evilly struck,
hacking and hewing our Master
as he slept in camp,
exhausted from the day’s campaign.
It fell upon my weary shoulders,
as Champion of our armies,
to take up the seat of leadership,
but we are so very few, numbers fallen,
gleaming gems amidst the dark rock of our foe.
Our final defeat may be close at hand.
Thus, I turn to you at last,
oh great Dragon Lord,
protector of my people.
In these last, desperate days,
I beseech thee,
heed the words of your humble warrior servant.
Walk amongst us now,
as you did in days of old.
Deliver us from our adversaries,
‘ere we fall into extinction.
I bow to you now, Lord,
in reverence of you, our Savior.
I await now your answer,
though I am exhausted,
and our time is running short……

Megalania was the largest land lizard ever to live in Australia and possibly the world

'It might be the last day', they mockingly say,
not believing the words they were just so quick to say.
That left a terrible picture in my pessimistic head.
They laugh with joy as the dragons smoke
deteriorates my lungs leaving me speechless,
yet undead.
I grin as the black night turns red,
as they look into my eyes deteriorating not their lungs,
but their spirits inside.
So much unexplainable love overflows
from the God given fountain,
that they come to drink so frequently out of.
It never stops flowing,
I must keep those smiles going,
its my dream that Im now finally living.
So drink and be merry,
and go on in glee,
get drunk off of the love Im terrifyingly giving.
The music from the mysterious pit
remind me of the clock that ticks
this time away,
and yet at the same time the clock wont stop reminding me
that the music and this time of adolescence is still playing my way.
Maybe if I take just a little sip of that poison
Ill be better kept,
maybe if I took a little pu
